In other words naming words .. things, proper nouns , names of people places, states, in other words nouns beginning with capital letters.

First we need to know the masculine word (definite article) for 'The'

Which is Ο (oh)

There are 3 possible (regular) endings of nouns for masculine . They are

-ος

-ης

--ας

Ο δρόμος oh dromos the road

Ο γιατρός oh yiatros the doctor

Ο τοίχος oh tikos the wall

Ο σταθμός oh stathmos the station

Ο Νίκος oh Nikos

Ο φίλος oh filos the friend

Ο άντρας oh antras the man

Ο αναπτήρας oh anaptiras the lighter

Ο ελέφαντας oh elefantas the elephant

Ο Κώστας oh Kostas

Ο Καναδάς oh Canadas Canada

Ο αγκώνας oh angonas the elbow
